Last time I checked, I chose to live in Pennsylvania, not Florida. It's like a giant swamp o' doom every morning. And I feel like a horrid pet owner leaving poor Tass in ick-house, while I sit in "climate control" land.

I have a wicked amount of stuff I want to accomplish at the homestead, but its so dang hot and goopy that I don't want to move let alone work. Boo.

Speaking of: Work is an absolute beast of late. The multitasking is getting so ridiculous that I have to multitask my multitasks ... or something ...

P.S. - Saw "New in Town" with L & mini-L. Actually quite cute. And it has the "Egger suit" chick (ie, Siobhan Fallon) from "Men in Black" as a costar with a Minnesota accent; truly priceless. If you like romantic comedy, it's worth a peek ;)

Utter and absolute randomness

Point the 1st: I heart Franklin Park (Philly, 7th & Race Sts.). I especially adore the carousel (I recommend riding on the back of the sleek, shiny sea monster!). I also found that I very much enjoy ADD mini-golf in which we played only the holes with the niftiest models of Philadelphia landmarks (the Art Museum hole was gorgeous!), did not keep score, and zigzagged back and forth in numbers, depending on what was free. Oddly, some people did not seem as smitten with the idea as we were. Others dug it and followed our -- admittedly a bit bad -- example. But we were all playing free, so really, is it such a terrible thing to have fun with it?

Point the 2nd: "Diet" margaritas make me even more self-analytical than normal. Really not anything I need *L*

And, apparently, Splenda masks the taste of tequila quite well. Or, as R noted, the tequila simply might not have been very good quality. ... It was tequila S and I picked up on our honeymoon in Mexico. :) While I don't typically like the aftertaste and hyperactive-inducing qualities or faux sweeteners, I have to say these margaritas were quite tasty!

Point the 3rd: This morning reaffirmed my distaste for selling my possessions at yard sales. I will now happily return to giving them away to charity. I'd much rather they reap the benefits, anyway ;)

Has anyone seen the latest Burger King commercial? With the chicks with square pants? I didn't think Burger King commercials could get any worse. And, of course, they did. *eye roll*

Tass is very obstinate. And I cannot handle criticism of our puppy training tactics.

Who decided Easter should become a sugar holiday? We have so much sugar at home, my brain just about short circuits daily. I think, "Hey, I gotta lose weight. These pants are getting snug." Meanwhile? I'm popping some brightly colored confection sure to rot my teeth and situate itself snugly within a layer of fat, where it will have plenty of company for all eternity :-P Yes, I know. Get rid of it. Give it away. But it's my precious. Oh, how I loves me some sweets. On the fast track to Diabetes, I am ...

I can make carrot-raisin salad. It's stupid easy. Super yummy. And it's not too bad for me ;)

Country line dancing is like an entire night of the electric slide on half-speed.

Guy in the cubicle behind mine: Can I borrow your stapler?
Me: Sure? Where's yours?
Dude: Umm ...
Me: [Stares blankly at heaping, sliding mountains of paper on his desk.] You lost it in there somewhere, didn't you?
Dude: I'm afraid so, yes.

In puppy training class:
Trainer: What motivates your dog? Some prefer treats, some prefer toys.
Me: [Knows our dog is motivated by neither.] *Giggle*
Trainer: What's so funny?
Me: Tass is motivated by the cat. Should I bring her in?

K, that's it for today. Total lameness sponsored by TryNotToPayTooMuchAttentionToWorkLestYourHeadSplode Day! Weeeeeeeeeee!
