nerdy Rachel and I went to the Moonlit Movie Series in 40th St. Field last night (University City, Phila.). It was an Elvis flick. They're always dear to my heart. My Dad was a huge fan. "Paradise Hawaiian Style" 1966, baby :) I think this was the very first one we've seen through this series that was technicolor!
Ah, we like our cheesy films. And snack food. I spent way too much, but the strawberries were superb! I ruined the health benefit by sneaking over to Ben & Jerry's later, though *snicker*
The last one is next week, a Laurel & Hardy flick called "Sons of the Desert." Come out. They're free!

Well ...
I'm going to next week's movie, also. I thought of you last night, but I go to these things with Rachel. It's our tradition.Yes, I'll definitely see you at the shower. (Thank goodness you're going!!!!). I was surprised by the invite. I thought they only had those for the 1st baby. But I guess she needs stuff since she hadn't planned on another one ;-)
I definitely want to get together sometime! It's just hard b/c I'm so busy, not mention po' *L* I only get a 45-minute lunch break, but maybe coffee after work sometime?

I hear ya sister... I am poor as well. Coffee after work would be great! woo!I was surprised by it as well... this will be her third child, so i was confused when she drug me into Babies R Us to register. I hate buying stuff for kids.. they outgrow it so fast and toys break and they aren't really aware enough to notice them, etc...
Well, if you ever want to hit one of the movies and Rachel can't make it, give me a call. It probably wouldn't be the best of situations if her and i actually met.
